strikes again! Qayamat Ki Raat starring Karishma Tanna and Vivek Dahiya has
found a spot in Top 10 in the first week of its premiere. The supernatural
drama hit TV screens on June 23 and in Week 26 (June 23-29), it acquired the 8th spot.

Talking to a section
of the media, Ekta had said, “Qayamat Ki Raat is a horror – sci-fi show. It is
about a girl and a village. I am very inspired by the great movies made in
South India like Arundhati. I am a big fan of the Ramsay films. My show also
has kitsch horror.”
Well, looks like
her fascination for the genre has translated to the show. It will be
interesting to see Qayamat Ki Raat’s journey in weeks to come.

Dixit, Shashank Khaitan and Tushar Gulia. This trend is proof that reality
shows will always give daily soaps a tough competition.

Bajewala stayed put at No. 5. After a fluctuating few weeks, the show has
bounced back in Top 5. The show follows the journey of a young singing prodigy
Kullfi, who sets out to find her father.
It was a dismal
week for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. While it was at No. 6 the past few weeks,
it dropped to No. 9 this time. It remains to be seen if this turns out to be a
one-time fluctuation or alarm bells would ring for the makers.

Subah Allah showcased significant improvement and went from No. 8 to 6. Good
